My name is Stephanie Tuck – welcome to the site! I’m a professional trumpet player based out of Bloomington, IN (soon to be Ann Arbor, MI, however). I’m currently about two weeks away from receiving my Bachelor’s degree in trumpet performance from Indiana University, where I’ve been studying under the awesome Joey Tartell for the past four years. In August, I’ll move up to Ann Arbor to pursue my Master’s at University of Michigan under Prof. Bill Campbell.
I grew up in Dunwoody, GA, attended Dunwoody High School and studied trumpet under David Kee and Yvonne Toll, and piano with Jean Kuehn.
When I’m not practicing or performing, I can usually be found at the climbing gym! The great thing about climbing is that so much that you learn about climbing you can apply to the trumpet, I’ve found.
This summer marks my third season with the world-renowned Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps! I am very excited and honored to be marching with the corps again. We have a very promising and talented group this year, and I’m sure we are in for an exciting summer! Look for us on the field – you can keep up with the corps here.
